GeekedAI's business model isn't surveillance. We collect what we need to run the product, nothing else. This page lays out exactly what that means. Last updated May 26, 2026.
What we collect
- Account: your email, a chosen username, and a password hash (we never see your password).
- Brokerage keys: if you connect a broker, your API key and secret are encrypted at rest on the server with a key only the running instance can read.
- Trading activity: the trades the AI executes on your behalf, so we can show you a history and improve the strategies.
- Email signups: if you reserve a spot for The Edge or sign up for a notify list, we store your email and the source (so we know which campaign to email).
- Basic logs: IP addresses and request paths, kept for 30 days for security and debugging.
What we don't collect
- Third-party analytics or trackers (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no Segment).
- Behavioral profiles built for advertising — we don't have advertisers.
- Order-flow data sold to high-frequency trading firms (this is what your other broker probably does — we don't).
How we use it
We use your data to run the product you're paying for — execute your trades, send you platform emails (purchase confirmations, course launch, security alerts), and respond when you contact us. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third-party marketers. Ever.
Who we share it with
- Your broker (e.g. Alpaca): trades and orders, when you tell us to.
- Payment processors (Stripe, Coinbase Commerce): when you pay us. We don't store your card number.
- Email delivery (Resend): when we send you a transactional email.
- Hosting (Hetzner, in Germany): the servers your data lives on.
Each of these vendors is bound by their own privacy policy. We pick vendors who don't resell user data.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can:
- Ask for a copy of every record we have about you.
- Ask us to correct something we got wrong.
- Ask us to delete your account and everything tied to it. We do this within 14 days.
- Unsubscribe from any non-essential email with one click (or by replying
stop).

Cookies
We use a single first-party cookie to keep you signed in. That's it — no advertising cookies, no third-party cookies, no fingerprinting libraries.
Children
GeekedAI isn't for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor signed up, write to us and we'll delete the account.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll email everyone with an account before the change takes effect. The previous version stays linked at the bottom.
